Pinterest and some art

I'm finding Pinterest to be really helpful for doing these inspiration posts. If you haven't heard of Pinterest, it's this site where you can grab your favourite images from all over the internet and make virtual inspiration boards. The best part is that it automatically grabs the link for you so that the original source always stays with the image. Some of the boards I've made are Fashion, Art, Pattern, Apartment and Puppies. What? sometimes I just like to look at puppies. You can see all of my boards here.

I've been finding a lot of good art lately and wanted to share some.

Prints by Sonnenzimmer via butdoesitfloat (my favourite source for finding awesome art)

Art from maps by Louis Reith via design is mine

Prints by Kate Banazi via The Design Files

Transmorphism by Leif Podhajsky via butdoesitfloat

Landscapes by tchmo

Into the Wild by Amy from Cake With Giants

I'm loving the last print.
So how does Pinterest actually work? I read you description of it but and I am quite curious. Is it free or do you have to do some sort of payment?

I love the last one. Really beautiful, quite simple to look at but on closer inspection the rendering is just lovely!
