Patterns and updates

I love repeat patterns - whether they're on wrapping paper, fabric, or found in nature. I have lots of photos I've taken of patterns found on my travels, which I'll share with you sometime soon. For now here are some patterns from my 'Pattern' board on Pinterest.

Quatrefoil tile from Katie Loves Design

From Orange You Lucky by Helen Dardik

Kaleidoscope from I Need Nice Things

I'm at uni again this semester doing a Masters in Secondary Teaching. It's a different uni to where I did my undergrad and it's nowhere near where I live so there's a lot of travel time! At least I only have to be there two days a week.
I also got a new job which I'll start in a few weeks - again, only two days a week so it'll fit in around uni and my other job.
This is my first weekend at home in about a month. I've been visiting my parents a lot and skiing with them, and went on a road trip to Victoria with my friends two weeks ago. With my weekends away and uni being out of the city, I'm very much living a half city/half country life at the moment. That makes me pretty happy as I can never quite decide which one I like more.

Just for fun, here's a video of my brother's dog determined to have a sleep in despite my brother and his fiance trying to wake her up:

It is supposed to be summer here as well, but it just looks like winter. This has been the worst month of summer ever, most rain ever, cold temperatures etc!

Ha! Love the video!

Is it hard to go to a uni that's in a less-urban area? I'm about to start grad school tomorrow and the university is smack dab in the middle of Atlanta. I can't wait!

Ooo lovely gorgeous patterns! The glasses are my favorite!
Congrats on the new job! You are one busy lady! Uni and two part time jobs? Cath just started back up to get her masters in Public Administration while she works full time. So you guys can totally commiserate.

You'll have to mark Bell Street Burritos on you list of places to visit, when you're next in Atlanta ;) It's gotta be a good sign!
