By the way, I got an HD (high distinction) for the blog. Woo!
Most of my break was spent in London and Paris, which is an excellent way to completely forget about the worries of fourth year! I was able to relax completely and do a lot of shopping, reading, and taking in shows and exhibitions. The YSL Retrospective at the Petit Palais deserves a post all of its own! I've got lots of new stuff to blog about but I'll start off this week with some photos from Paris. Most were taken by my mum, some by me. I got a bit lazy with the photography side of things! We were in Paris for a week, spending half the time in Montmartre and the other half in Marais (and a day at Disneyland!).
FAIRY FLOSS! There is not enough fairy floss available in Sydney and this needs to be fixed. The pre-made stuff in the bags at the video shop doesn't count.

I'm so envious that you got to eat SNAILS. Seriously, I want to eat snails!~ I love all these pictures, they're fantastic, especially the one with the heart lock and your boyfriend in the future (vuuuury sexy ;D).
&& Ahhhh! I love your name, too! Because it's my name. I've never met another Ali who spelled her name like this before and it's excitinggg. :DDD
Your mum is such a good photographer. How cool having a photographer with you when travelling.
The pictures are great. And i agree about the fairy floss, i love fresh fairy floss but i can only really get them at markets or the easter show
These pictures are absolutely AMAZING! I'm visiting Paris in October/November and these snaps made me so much more excited! :D
SUCH AMAZING PHOTOS. Europeans are the cutest. I want to go back to Europe. And Paris. And Europe. AND ESPECIALLY PARIS. The Eiffel Tower at night is DEFINITELY one of the most beautiful sights I've ever seen. EVER. (The first photo made me extremely nostalgic.)
Congrats on being in HD! (I sound like a computer commercial nerd guy, or something!) Good luck with updating and such!
Thanks so much for stopping by! I'm so jealous - I wish I were amazing at sewing! That's ACTUALLY one of my dreams. How'd you get so pro?!

"this is my boyfriend in 50 years time" sent me into an explosion of laughter. congrats on the HD, its the best feeling in the world to be recognized for hard work (despite what some would say, good grades can feel so so so good). paris looks wonderful :)
ps-i had a doll like that too! it wasn't barbie, it was one of her brunette friends though. I never liked blonde dolls for some reason. and they always always had neon clothes ohh the early 90's lol
Seems like a great holiday! That heart locket on the fence is a tradition they have in Russia as well. It quite romantic don't you think? I went to Russia last week and if you like to see some images, you can find them on my blog! Bye!
love the pics, love your top :)
